Tami Coyne has been aptly described as a “diva without attitude.”
Her current show, My America, is a musical exploration of her complex relationship to the country of her birth. A collaboration with HMS: Family Band, we explore the difficult
times we are living in and propose a way way forward that is grounded in love, hope and unity consciousness.
A powerful storyteller and singer, Tami is very comfortable in the murky emotional waters of all genres of music. She is also an interfaith minister, writer and energy healer. Check out her website at www.TamiCoyne.com
Henry Luzzatto is a Brooklyn-based writer, editor, and musical force of nature. When he isn’t busy directing the HMS Family Band with an iron fist, he plays guitar in the alternative rock band No Jersey and writes fiction and journalism for publications including Men's Journal, body fluids, and the Los Angeles Review of Books.
Michael Luzzatto is thrilled to be back and taking on more! Back on bass, Michael has been eagerly awaiting their return to the stage. Their previous musials endeavors are available on Bandcamp under the name Dressing Rooms.
Sophia Scorcia is very excited to be making her drumming debut, and is especially excited to be doing so at Greenwich House Music School where she has been taking some form of music or dance class since she was 1 years old. She is honored to be sharing the stage with her fellow members of the HMS Family band and, of course, her mother!
Desiree Warner (Director) Originally from Seattle, Desiree hopped on a plane one day and landed in NYC with the ambition of studying acting. She soon registered at H.B. Studio where she studied with Carol Rosenfeld, Walt Witcover, and Uta Hagen. Desi began directing for theater and film earning an International Film and Television Award for her documentary, “Prison Boxing, Fighting Time.” After a hiatus to raise two children, she has returned to the theater and is currently writing and developing projects and ideas that came to her during her time as a mother.
